Mindful Movements with Patagonia Pasadena

In this two-hour workshop, we will create a space to move our bodies together, foster presence through somatic and yogic practices, and consider our connection to each other and the land as a catalyst for grief and recovery.

We will use techniques from relational therapy, ecopsychology, somatics, and trauma-sensitive yoga to help us to feel more connected and supported during this trying time for many of us.

Processing our experiences is an important part of reducing and managing trauma, compassion fatigue, and vicarious trauma. By creating supportive, safe, and embodied connections, we become more resilient to the challenges of the road ahead and the work left to do. We hope this workshop can be a place to find relief and resonance and to experience a greater sense of our belonging to each other and this land. In this way, we practice reciprocity, giving and receiving mutual love, support, and resilience.

This workshop is not a yoga class, therapy, or a process group, but rather a guided time of engaging with community through movement, sharing, mindfulness, and collective remembering. If you are in need of further therapeutic support, please reach out to either Cait or Sam at their websites.

Ways we’ll engage with these themes together:

- Trauma-sensitive yoga practices to engage the body and heart.
- Somatic exercises to foster awareness of self and our interconnectedness to all life.
- Mindfulness practices to deepen your sense of connection and calm.
- Time of reflection and integration to gain personal insight and optional group share

Ecosomatic Process Group

Join us for a 5-week Ecosomatic process group—a space to slow down, listen deeply, and reconnect with the innate wisdom of your body and the natural world. Together, we’ll draw from Nature Therapy, Somatic practices, and Trauma-informed Relational therapy to explore what it means to connect more deeply with ourselves, each other, and the more than human world. Through guided practices, shared reflection, and embodied ritual you’ll gain tools to support nervous system regulation, embodied presence, and a deeper sense of belonging, as well as crafting a personalized ritual for you to continue your practice after the group ends.
